WHAT DOES 3 in 1 MEAN?

I'm always looking for new ideas and you are my great inspiration There are many of you mastered in different kinds of macro photos, especially drops, flowers, insects and other nature related picts. This contest will focus on another macro types. I wanna see new ideas, something untypical, original, strange, rare, freak ....shots presenting ordinary things in extraordinary way, just see it and say -wtf?- or make me simply
There are 3 categories so you can participate 3 times in the contest with 3 different macro photos:

OBJECTS, TEXTURES and CONCEPTS

I. OBJECT MACROS: just look around and start to shot macros! show me ordinary things in new light, strange, make still life - alive! Any object you can find any stuff you have in your room, kitchen, bathroom or outside: tools, toys, human and animal body parts, food, trash, also inanimate parts of nature (like water, foam, stones, leafs, flowers, feathers, hairs)

II. CONCEPTUAL MACROS: here you can make your imagination flow free, more your head, force your brain, SAY IT WITH YOUR MACRO Conceptual macro has to include an idea, message that express the photo itself or thanx to an ADEQUATE TITLE - yeah blow me with the title!

III. TEXTURE MACROS: to this category fits anything that shows the feel, appearance, or consistency of a surface or a substance, textures of any living (whatever human or animal skin, pelt, fur, rind, pelage) or inanimate thing (metal, cotton, wood, paper, plastic, any material and all nature textures you may present as well)

RULES:

- Contest for ALL DA people - everyone is free to enter
- Your work has to be a PHOTO - but photo manipulations are also allowed
- Has to be your work. No stealing, copying, or using someone's works without permission
- ONE pict per person in EVERY category - there are 3 categories  - so it means maximum 3 entries from each participant one per category
- If you have a deviation that fits in two or three categories, please just choose one!
- Can be new or old creation , but no older than 2 years submitted on DA! (the date when the photo was taken doesn't matter) And please, in your "Artist's comments" add a link to the contest!
- No Daily Deviations, sorry!
- Entry may not use any DA watermarks neither hudge/big distinguishing artist marks (that in many ocasions makes art viewing just impossible)
- Minimum size 800px high and/or 800px wide (the quality really does matter)
- Deadline is January 20th 2010 (Midnight GMT timezone) because of my birthday then the votation will start
- The winners will be annunced February 1st 2010 (Midnight GMT timezone) then the prizes will be given
- I'm reserving my right to change deadlines and disqualify any entry with a fair excuse
 
VOTING:

- Voting will start January 20th 2010 (Midnight GMT timezone) and end about January 27th
- EVERYONE can vote! All you have to do is send me a NOTE with your 3 most favorites entries from each category (it means 3 favs x 3 categories = 9 thumbs)
- CONTEST PARTICIPANTS: don't try to vote on yourself! Don't try to convince other deviants to vote any of your entry! All activities as ''vote for me'' journals and self promote messaages are forbidden. You can promote the whole contest but not your entries!

 Submit contest entries by sending me a Note titled ''MACRO CONTEST'' with link or thumb MARKING CLEARY THE CATEGORY: CONCEPT or TEXTURE or OBJECT remember, max. ONE pict in each category!
NOTING ME is the ONLY way to enter da contest!
